The massive body is mounted on a tripod and can be moved in the X and Y axes to center it under the lens. The body is the base for adapters.
Inside is a single-board computer Raspberry PI, which runs the Raspbian operating system and digitization software that communicates with the camera via a USB cable using the Gphoto2 library, which is distributed under a free license and supports most newer digital cameras.
Furthermore, there is a mixing chamber with LEDs inside. The standard LED strip is 5000L, CRI 95+ Optionally, another strip can be built in, e.g. RGB or RGBAW suitable for digitizing color negatives.
